Published Spring 2019, 'There Was No Snow In December' is a short collection of poems written primarily in the autumn and winter of 2017 during the authors last few months in Manchester and time away in Ireland.

Aiming to capture the complicated interpersonal relationships of the time through fragmented images, the book explores themes of personal growth, love, and mental health, to build a version of the world that is both accurate to the events and warped by the author's perception.

This is the first book by Oliver Sale and is intentionally left relatively unchanged from its original conception in 2017 to function both as a means to convey events, and to honour the people that lived them.
